Honestly, getting a job where I had to force myself to be confident changed my life. I work in a drug rehab where I have to tell people what to do daily. When I first started I was a stuttering, murmuring, pussy. But I did not quit the job, even though I wanted to. Eventually got a lot of confidence. I'm a small skinny dude but I can go up to anyone and tell them what to do.
The idea is put yourself in a challenging situation for a bit and dont quit.
