I find it very difficult to care about anything at all in my life. I could live in my parents basement for the rest of my life watching anime and playing games and it wouldn't bother me at all.

Yeah it is kinda like that. I don't think there is anything you can take for it. I told the doctor and he said I can go to a help group but I don't see how they actually help.

Also as I have autism social situations scare me, which makes the depersonalization worse so I don't think talking about it to people is going to help.

Sounds much better than being homeless indeed. I always thought modern western armies were strict about letting people with mental disorders in. I had a friend who wanted to become a pilot, passed all of the testing in flight simulators and such, but then got rejected after a talk with the shrink. I think he was depressed or something, but we lost touch. So do you think your mental issues make it harder for you to function as a soldier, and what do other army people make of it? Do you have an actual combat role or do you have some other job within the army?

My voice is a little louder than a whisper, but when i do speak up, I mumble really badly due to being so nervous. One time I was in a store, and I couldn't reach something (manlet) I wanted to ask an employee, but when I did he didn't understand me so I just told him to forget it.
Also I moved recently and now it makes my anxiety even worse, because I barely know anyone here.
