Grape-kun fell in love with the character Hululu that was put up in the penguin pen and would spend all his time with her and bring her food and stuff
After the promote ends they take down the cut outs and Grape falls into a deep depression having lost his waifu
The story catches everyones interest and people demand he be given back his waifu and the zoo gets permission to put the cut out back up and Grapes condition improves and he goes on being a happy little penguin with his anime waifu
Cut to now and Grape has unfortunately died of old age since he was already 20 years old when they first had the promotion but he was able to live out the rest of his days with Hululu who was even there with him when died since the zookeepers kept her near him to make him more comfortable
