>>2507291have you considered getting closer to the enemy instead of camping like a coward? all the patterns add over rng spray is something to not know that has to be looked up in a wiki, while adding nothing to make the game experience richer or more complex since the solution to it is actually SIMPLER than rng spray since first-shot accuracy is often (but not always -- another thing to wikigroan instead of adapt to normally, which guns actually shoot straight) very high and the game rules vastly balance things towards the defender (as in, the person who is stationary and trying to defend a position, regardless of which team theyre actually on. it prefers the camper to the rusher)
cs is a shitty game because it does everything in its power to dissuade moving up and pressuring the enemy, instead removing the value of movement, of good aim, and of being able to think tactically to create and maintain pressure. instead, it's basically whoever picks the correct gun wins any given engagement because its (((recoil pattern))) is just superior, there's no need to be good at twitch aiming because camping through pixel-perfect sight lines is so prevalent and you just wait to hit the "fire" key, and the objective of the game is usually totally ignored because of its shitty balance and retarded game rules making it easier to just wipe out the defenders than actually go for planting like you would in any other shooter
cs is just a deeply unfun game that replaces the wonderous feeling of going "oh so THATS how that works, THATS how to succeed!" with downloading scripts to mitigate pre-programmed and unchanging recoil patterns. instead of the joy of speed and routing, you get to go "huh so i hide behind this box and wait, huh? may as well rebind +attack to space, it's not like im gonna move my mouse while shooting anyway"
