>>2510812The study you're referencing is bullshit, and you should feel retarded for alluding to it, or believing the headline.
Sex studies, in the modern sense, really started with a guy named Alfred C. Kinsey. (Fun Fact #1: Kinsey was funded by the (((Rockefeller Foundation))). Fun Fact #2: Kinsey's work also includes the "Kinsey Scale" which suggests most people aren't exclusively homosexual or heterosexual). Kinsey's biggest works "Sexual Behavior in the Human Male," "Sexual Behavior in the Human Female," and "The Kinsey Reports" captured national attention in the late 40s into the 60s. Many sex studies up until the late 80s and early 90s utilized his methodology or drew specifically from his data.
Unfortunately, Kinsey's data was entirely flawed. His data consisted of the following:
>Marriage being defined as "A person living with a member of the opposite gender for over 1 year" (This led to the inclusion of literal prostitutes living with their pimps)>Oversampling homosexuals (More promiscuous than average)>Oversampling criminals convicted of sex crimes (More promiscuous than average)>Oversampling sex abuse victims (More promiscuous than average)He also relied solely on volunteers. A later Stanford study found that volunteers for sex studies are ~2-4 times more promiscuous than average.
Kinsey's work, and later work drawing from his, are wrong. They paint society as being far more promiscuous than it actually was.
Additionally, the relevant bit is "% of people who lose their virginity to their (eventual) spouse." That number has steadily plummeted and the data we currently have on Gen-Z shows a continuation of this trend.
tl;dr: Society isn't getting less degenerate. You're just making the mistake of looking at the wrong things and placing your faith in headlines without any context.
