Unlike peacock tails, though, they're uses for more than just attracting mates. Wide hips and asses are peacocking, but wide hips means higher success rate for the birth of a larger child, so i guess that's still useful too. Big booties accentuate women's hips to show off their birthing potential.
But big bags are there to hold more milky, as you would say.
