the 56k days and early 4chan/sa/newgrounds/etc were so pure and wholesome in a way. people just did shit and made content just because, as opposed to now where everything has to be a hot may may or bust and everything gets too popular for its own good within minutes and the technological limitations meant people had to be so much more creative

ok i lied a little bit. crack is also becoming hip in canada. i dont know why. it just suddenly became cool. it's not common to do, but it doesnt carry the same stigma anymore and a lot of people who smoke crack are hipsters. in fact, you rarely hear of white trailer trash smoking crack anymore, it's all natives and hipsters. trailer trash smoke weed instead. the roles and their preferred drugs have all switched around
