I had been a social retard all my life, having very few friends, getting obsessivly interested in things like Pokémon or dinosaurs, it was fine when I was really young but I started losing friends and getting bullied around the time I was twelve.
At some point, a friendly teacher adviced me to "find myself a new personna" and so I did.
I considered myself to be funny so I hold onto that trait of character like my life depended on it, shouting stupid puns at teachers, reciting jokes at recess and so on, you know, I was "that kid" that tried too hard.
I was still widely considered to be a retard but I at least had a couple of socially retarded friends again.
Push come to shove, I started trying to amuse my friends with new types of jokes, practical jokes like stuffing jelly under a door knob or planting sealed bottles of coke with mentos hidden into them, waiting for someone to try and drink from them.
It was stupid and somewhat of a nuisance but I had a lot of fun and friends who liked me and respected my. "work", it's only logical I kept doing the same thing when I started soending more and more time on the internet.
I have always tried to remain harmless, tho, I was more of a Rick roll or "purposely get your teamates to fall of a cliff" guy than anything else
