I'm not entirely sure why I don't like them much, I like collecting stuff so maybe that's why since there's no attachment to an emulator at all (not that my collection of games is impressive or anything).

So what's it like running a multilingual Discord? I moderate a relatively large (350 or so members) and the people in charge are painstaking about English only. Actually, we kinda have the opposite problem. Right now I’m trying to get people to start participating in the nonenglish channels more, as of right now a majority of the action takes place in our English lobby. That said, it’s really nice and chill so I’m enjoying it; just trying to figure out a way to not force but incentivize people to participate a bit more, to try to get the more shy people into the conversation and start using not English too. What sorta server is yours?

It's a /tg/ server, not affiliated with the board in anything more than content though. I find that once you hit a certain mass of members you're always bound to have lurkers. Participation is a huge issue for us, of our members only around 10-15% are active in the channel.
