Betrayed the government on several ocassions and attempted to assassinate saddam causing the massacre that would later get him executed. After the establishment of a new government they were given large autonomy over their region on the condition that they respect the sovereignty of Iraq over all it's territory. They were basically the pampered baby in a house full of poorfags, they desire more pampering while the rest of the country is utter shit and wish to gain independence.
