I know they make bad choices, care nothing about education or family, and act like chimps but really, I do still feel bad. Imagine your history is so polluted, so sad and pathetic, that you literally have to revise it to convince yourselves that you're anything but belligerent monkeys. Virtually everyone in the world has some kind of background that at one point or another accomplished something to be proud of but blacks have nothing. Absolutely nothing. I don't think I could live with myself knowing that my people and my heritage are literally thousands of years of brutal violence and absolutely no accomplishments.
