>>2620830>better than no happiness at all I'd sayIs it really happiness though? Because a lot of what sexual deviants are more interested in lust-filled relationships to satisfy sexual urges. Ask some of your transsexual friends about their transitions, particularly those that really wanted to do it, got it, and regret it. There is also a reason why sexual deviants like homosexuals and transsexuals have elevated suicide rates and have a higher percentage of HIV/AIDS transmission rates among other things compared to regular people. I'm sure its due to all the happiness going on /sarc.
> Particularly judging how everytime someone mentions something on the lines of "true happiness" is always related to spirituality, state of mind, letting go of material desires and all kinds of subjective values.People need some kind of structured, objective framework from which to build off of. You and I can both agree that there needs to be some order to things, right? If people somehow derive happiness from that, then that is on them. If someone doesn't have that, then they'll make their own framework like the atheists and 'science worshippers' did with Christianity and replaced it with SCIENCE!(tm). Additonally, people have been spiritual to some capacity over the course of at least a few thousand years if not more so. To toss all that away in favor of secularism, materialism, and hoping everything stays nice is folly. If we are all united it is through the birth of life and death. What happens between birth and death is irrelevant once you die since you'll never see it again.
>Tell me, what's your alternative to this empty happiness?Diversify your interests. Try AND take up new hobbies, travel the world, become a big part of your community. If you feel obligated to become spiritual, find some community that you feel strongest with. Don't make something self-serving and harmful a core part of your identity. It will in the end ruin you, and I'd hate to see that happen.
