I've been here for a long time by the way, nearly 10 years. But I'm realising it's really fucking unhealthy
>>2637804Yes and it's the most cancerous place on the internet, no joke.
>>2637813No I don't. I'm just saying 4chan is unhealthy. I've seen the effects on myself, and now I'm trying to discuss this subject with you guys.
Here's the thing about 4chan. The fact that you can't ever work out what sort of person a poster is really throws you off.
Even on Reddit, sure you can't see the person, so you can't judge their appearance, but you can see their post history, so at least you can build up SOME impression of who they are.
In the real world, we form opinions on who we should listen to based on what people look like, whether they look respected / presentable / socially functional / successful / whatever.
On 4chan you don't have that information, so it's just a constant clusterfuck. You never know who you're talking to. Someone will say "LOL DUDE JUST BE A MOTHERFUCKING ALPHA, LOL DUDE YOU'RE SUCH A FAGGOT", but if you saw that guy in real life, you'd probably realise he's a total faggot.
>>2637814Internet "friends" will never be a substitute for real life friends.
That's a good thing you have hobbies, but you should get some real life friends too. Maybe you have some, I don't know.
>>2637819Well I *can* be a normie - at the moment I'm not, because I've isolated myself, but I do actually have some friends, and I should probably make a fucking effort to socialise with them more instead of coming to this fucking website.
So basically you have a choice, don't you - either make the effort to make a success of your life, or give up and come on 4chan. Success in life ain't fucking easy, you will always have setbacks, but the rewards are better than anything you will get out of this fucking website.
