Most anime is generic shit that just plays with the autistic urges of manchilds
It's kinda like there are two sorts of anime
In one it's all about the story, the story would work well in another medium and is in itself interesting, characters have an actual personality instead of being one of 10 archetypes that even have special weeb names.
For this anime is just a medium.
Then there is the other kind, it's built after a social engineered schematic to appeal to a group of as much betas as possible.
Typically you can guess the whole plot after one episode and you are right.
There is some kind of beta self insert protagonist that gets digged by many different female archetypes so every beta gets to pick the one most related to his fetishes.
The plot is just a means of filling the time between the obligatory scenes
Or the protagonist is just ridiculous overpowered and the beta can self insert as cool
