.223 is literally supersonic out of the barrel, the difference of a couple inches of gas travel cant possibly be that meaningful
the really laughable thing is attaching the front sight to the gas system.modern ARs are intended to be modular, why is the front sight not just threaded onto the muzzle device like it is in most other firearms?
