The people who drive them divide into multiple categories:
1. Yes compensation (-_-) k we get it
2. Genuine offroaders (a decent amount here in PNW)
3. Use it for work (sometimes a mix of 1 and 2 as well)
4. Just a mere fuck you 'because America.../Leaf' and low fuel prices
Overall it's a phenomena that will unfortunately manifest itself in NA culture for a while...or fortunately depending on your side of the coin
