>>2696835You should definitely start with the original two, otherwise you're going to be extremely confused with the new one and have no clue what is going on. It picks up 25 years after the original series ended. I think the entire original series is on Showtime On Demand and it's also on Netflix. I'm sure you can find a stream somewhere of the movie. It's a bit slow, so if that's not your type of show I probably wouldn't recommend it. Also, the second season has a huge chunk that absolutely sucks, but you really gotta watch it all to make sure you pick up on the little details. The story can become extremely convoluted and because it was written with more of a train-of-thought style there's a lot of shit in there that doesn't need to be there. It's a fun ride, none-the-less.
