Having "friends" doesnt help when they dont wanna hang out with you because they prefer to hang out with other friends.

I used to go to meetup.com shit when I was in a new city. As far as social skills I am an autist but still made some friends just by being nice / polite to people. I would usually pick big-ish ones (50+ people) so I could slip out if I wasn't feeling it.

If they never want to hang out then they are not your friends. Maby you're a repettitive person and they just want a change od scenery ones in a while. Do intresting shit, try new things you don't usually do when you're not hanging out with them so you'll have intresting topics to talk about next time you do hang out with them.
