On December 19th, 2017, humans have advanced leaps and bounds in space technology and have finally contacted aliens. These aliens, called Arume, were immediately hostile and decided to invade earth. 15 months later, the war rages on with humanity barely keeping their own home planet to themselves. Then, psychics emerged in both races. You are part of a (relatively) small scale operation to purge Arumes from earth while other nations fight them in space. You also may or may not be psychic.
