most teachers might go through just the formulas and not how they relate to the graphs they create

there is alot of beauty in math, but here education is so commercialized only a select few actually like it

How early did you learn isolating x?
I had a curriculum from Singapore when I was young, and it seemed to focus of moving to the next topic quickly. The American books tended to value mastery at the expense of speed.
