I haven't ever tried porcinis though. Last week I had the first boletus kind of mushroom (those with the sponge cap instead of gills). It was pic related.
It isn't one of the best of this kind but it still was pretty good and I'm hyped to try any other ones before season is over.
>>2737766I find it hard to believe you. You must at least have tried agaricus or something like that which are the most common type of mushrooms that exist. We call them "champiñones" here and they're really cheap and sold everywhere.
If you haven't really ever tried them you should do is as soon as possible, you literally don't know what you're missing. They are the easiest stuff to prepare. Just slice, put in a pan with a little olive oil and garlic and cook them. I don't think there's anyone out there that doesn't like mushrooms.
