Moved out immediately at 18 because classic stepfather issues. I was not ready. Jesus christ I was not ready. So much stupid fucking little shit you take for granted but it all adds up to a huge waste of time each week

Rent is too god damn high. No seriously its so high that I cant even get something decently priced in a shitty area & I work almost 40hrs a week in management nonetheless. I'd rather live with my parents then have to dump almost 1600 a month for a 1bd 1ba in a nigger infested town with street parking & no washer/dryer. Its a joke.

I'm looking for places to live in northern Vermont, in the middle of bumfuck nowhere, over an hour from Burlington which is orders of magnitude smaller than NYC, and the average place is still 700 or 800$. It seems like 1bd 1ba are the most expensive--it's cheaper living with roommates. Thought that's difficult to do when you are socially retarded. Almost makes it not worth it.

Pic related is from Kentucky, but it gives you an idea of what bellow low income housing in northern VT is like.

Apartments are so bad in the US. I don't need 700 square feet of floor space, a walk in closet, stainless steel appliances, a pool, or any other frivolities. I just want a nice little room where I can put a bed and a desk, a kitchen and bathroom, and neighbors that aren't niggers, spics, or white trash.

I was sad, walking in the drizzle in the parking lot of the first place I lived on my own. I found a rabbit between some cars, and after some slow creeping I caught it with my jacket. I let it sleep in the bed with me. It pooped all over my sleeping bag. It would sit on the back of my couch and I would feed it Apple slices while I watched TV.
