I've heard other people get upset about the game because that one black leader character felt more like she was forced into it, and not that she was natural to the rest of the game. There are scenes where the Nazis are being buddy-buddy to some KKK members, some talk about "race superiority" and such, which is fine. I get why that would be in there. Which is also why I wouldn't have a problem with a black character barking orders at BJ. But what I keep hearing is that she feels like some forced, pandering shill or something...
Kind of like how that one DLC for Last of Us didn't feature much of anything interesting but OH LOOK ELLIE IS GAY AND WITH A NON-WHITE SUPER PROGRESSIVE. It all just comes across as obnoxious.
