I wake up around the same time to go cycling, doing it after work either means fucking around in rush hour traffic or waiting until that clears out and doing night rides instead. My alarm is a recording of me saying "wake up fat fuck", it helps bullying myself.

It depends, there are a few stretches of road that I ride that are near pitch black when the sun isn't out, other parts are so well lit that I don't even need lights on my bike.

That's not true, anon. I used to live in ghetto neighborhood that was notorious for its gang activity. Fights would break out, thefts were a common occurrence, etc... Anyways, out of all the months I lived there, I never got attacked once (and yes, I'm white). I could even carry a box of alcohol near the streetniggers and they still wouldn't take 0 interest in me (which I've done numerous times before).

I'm a 5'5 manlet. But I am immensely built. I think the streetniggers respect whiteness more from my past experiences.

I decided to do something else than cycling this time.

Yeah it was, haven't really done push-ups since i was 19.
I mostly keep to cycling and sometimes jogging, but this thread inspired me to try different things.

Not really, I adapt pretty easily to culture changes so I think there hasn't been anything I would call a culture shock. Also I made some Spanish speaking friends here so that might have helped.

Have you had any? Although I guess Nordic countries share much of their cultures so probably not.

Yeah that's true, the biggest difference is the language.
Although i did have a moment when i fully realized that i wasn't in Iceland anymore.
On my way back home from cycling one day I was going past a football field.
And just out of the corner of my eye i saw some odd shapes on it.
So i stopped to have a better look at what it was.
Turns out there were two elks just standing on the field.
It seemed pretty surreal to me since there aren't many wild mammals on Iceland and those that do exist stay far away from human settlements.

That's pretty cool, seeing wild animals is awesome. Do you live in a rural area or does that happen near the cities too? I used to live in the outskirts of a big city near a mountain and boars and wild bunnies would come down sometimes. One time I even found some ultra cute bunnies in my building's yard.

I live in the suburbs of a town but my house is fairly close to a forest so animal sightings arent as rare as in like Oslo.

Oh, so you've had plenty of time to get used to it. I think two or three years is what takes me to get bored of a new place. Perhaps, I know whenever i travel back to my hometown it always feels like a magical place.
I'm not sure I'd feel that way about it if i was born in a big city.

Usually what makes your hometown so magical is family and good memories no matter how shitty the place actually is. I don't have many good memories and I don't like the place, but being with my family always makes me very happy so I go back as much as possible.

Well i guess it's partly that, but I also feel like i missed the beauty of the place when it was normal to me, but now that I've traveled a bit I think i appreciate that aspect of it much more.

I'm honestly not sure, I've always kinda wanted to live in the capital, but it would be nice to be living in the hometown again.
I think i would probably move to the city or some other town just so i can keep some of the magic of the hometown alive.

You wouldn't be too wrong about that, there are times in winter when you're driving around winter when you see the snow covered trees and it feels like a wonderland.
But Iceland has a special kind of beauty that separates it from the other Nordic countries, there aren't many trees but that only makes it so that it doesn't obscure the mountain, glacier or volcano in the distance.
Pic is of Heimaklettur it's one of three mountains (the other two are volcanoes btw) in my home town.
You can always see each of them wherever you are on the island and i think that's kind of beautiful.

I heard from a Russian that Russia is comfy in the winter because you can light a fireplace and stay warm and snuggle with a cup of hot tea or hot chocolate, whichever you prefer

Haven't tried it myself since I don't have a fireplace but it certainly sounds comfy, fireplaces are the best

I go for a 15 min run every other day
On the days I don't run I do hip extensions, donkey kicks, and lunges
Every night I do 3 sets of 20 push ups, two sets of 30 sit ups, soldier presses, bicep curls, and some triceps exercise I forget the name of

What do you guys think? I'm gonna go for ottermode/twink, right now I'm 57kg and 177cm. So I need to put on a bit of weight.

If you wanna get slim, do sprints.
If you want top tier shoulders, do pull ups. Fasting for a month isn't really a healthy option for your body. It fucks with your metabolism.
