Why are there no photos of satellites? All CGI?

Are there really hundred thousands satellites orbiting earth at any gicen time? Why dont the collide?

How can they stay up for so long and how to take them down?

Ask your friend with a telesocpe to help you see the international space station when it passes overhead. You can find the schedule on www.heavens-above.com sat tracker. It will be tricky to track without one of those computerized mounts, but it can be done. I saw the thing with a shitty reflector that i found in the trash, and it was cool. You can also find the times for various other satellites, and their brightness / magnitude will be listed for your location (negative is brighter).

Does time flow differently while out in space/in a satelite?

The earth seems to spinning incredibly fast out there does that mean that time will move faster for the astronauts without them ageing because earth's gravitational field no longer affects them as much?

Look up on a clear night away from city lights. You can easily spot them in orbit without a telescope or binoculars.

You can even measure the difference in time from the bottom floor relative to the top floor of a skyscraper with atomic clocks afaik. So no, the astronauts age a very very very small amount slower realative to us on earth.

Oftest, så henter man ikke ned satellitter igjen. Enten lar man de bare være, eller skifter man kursen slik at de begynner å falle mot jorda, og brenne opp i atmosfæren.
