Generally it doesn't take much to derail the thread, just start quoting all of the people still discussing shit and ask dumb questions. Eventually they'll start trying to answer your dumb questions and forget about what they were discussing prior to the distraction.
I don't bother with the amerimutt threads, they're all shitposts anyway and they anger the /pol/ retards so they don't bother me.
