Of those two parts, there's the Cirnoposters, who are the largest piece of the "it shouldn't be /pol/" half, and thus are the most visible and get the most conflict directed against them. It's why there seems to be almost as many people who hate /pol/tards on /pol/ as actual /pol/tards, or people for gun control on /k/ versus everyone else.
If you look at the Cirno hate thread you're talking about, you'll notice that the only people that actually hate her are the OP, Wosack poster, and a Dukeposter, who are three out of forty users. The "cirno hate" is largely astroturfing.
