>>2911452>How and why were pyramids built?>The ruling class just whipped a bunch of slaves for years and years to build these giant things because they could.A good way to instantly measure whether someone you just met can think for themselves, ask them that question and see whether you get that answer. That answer signifies the person just repeats as fact whatever he hears attributed to "experts". He's just a propaganda parrot, a mindless npc. Not someone you really want to have a personal relationship with, since they are basically a walking talking newspaper headline.
Conscious people think about the pyramids and understand that no, you can't just feed and house and whip slaves for years and years to build these giant things that serve no real functional purpose. These things being tombs built by slaves just makes no sense.
To understand why "experts" would make up such ridiculous explanations for the existence of the pyramids, you have to understand that the dominant ideologies of the modern world, Hegelianism and Marxism, require that History be a story of progression: that we started out shit, and got increasingly better by developing new concepts or new technologies for material production, that History even with a few setbacks is more or less an upward arrow, despite and even because of revolutions.
Any evidence of an ancient civilization being as or more advanced as industrial society completely undermines Hegel and Marx. It means history is cyclic, like Nietzsche suggested, not progressive.
People who deny that the pyramids were made by advanced civilizations assume that evidence of the tools and methods to create them should survive for 10,000+ years. In fact, nature erases practically everything in just a few hundred years. If human society collapsed today, 10,000 years from now practically all our advanced technology would be buried and dissolved, and all that would remain would be stuff like our skyscrapers, purely because of their scale.
