I got into low challenger in S4 and then stopped playing cause of my shit connection, I quit SR in S5 and quit entirely after Dominion was removed, so I'm pretty confident in what I have to say.
Riot kept pushing to add more content (to get those sweet dollars) instead of focusing on what's actually wrong with the game.
>new characters have a lot more tools in their pockets than older characters who are often one dimensional with only 1 clear/viable play pattern>Champions all fit into pretty well defined roles and there exists no natural variety as the best choice is simply the one with the better numbers in the current itteration>their live balance team can't balance for shit and keeps jumping from one direction to another with no sign of where they're trying to go with their changes>their patch timing are fucking crazy, delivering major patches right before the fucking world championship is fucking stupid>their base game engine is a fucking POS that they spent half a decade trying to get it to work before finally realizing they're better starting off from scratch>said POS is buggy as hell and they can't fix bugs even when dedicated autists provide crystal clear documentation and methods of reproductionLooking back it's a shitty game I wouldn't have spent my time on if my 'friends' weren't playing it (the exact reason the game is still alive at this point)
