Years pass, and these two young men, Yang Wenli and Reinhand Lohengramm are both dissatisfied with the status quo. But in the end, Lohengramm was the one who was successful. He gave the citizens of the Empire relative freedom - both as a way to pacify the populace, but also because of the lessons he had learned from Yang Wenli and the republic he was in. He is not quite a monarchist in the true sense of the word (successors don't get decided through bloodline, but by the Kaiser himself), but seeing the way he reformed the Empire reminded me of Hoppe's writings.
