I've not gotten a console of theirs since the 3DS, but easily: not even considered any of the others, outside of the vita and that's a handheld, definitely fun stuff. Will probably get a switch though, and looking back I wouldn't have minded having a Wii U.

I know basically nothing of that game, and all I've heard is the one up girl song or whatever it's called which was nice, Mario games always have great music so not really that surprising to hear. I'll get it when I get around to getting a switch for sure though.

the online on halo 5 is objectively the best online mode of any halo game but the story mode was terrible!
also there got rid of splitscreen which was a BIG mistake.
they did confirm halo 6 will bring back splitscreen which is nice, but I wan't them to put effort into the story mode this time. I mean, they got the online perfect with halo 5, they could literally just leave the same online from 5 but give it a nice story mode and I would be more than happy

I have played retro games like Doom, Doom 2 and Quake. Honestly much better in instant gratification than most of the online games I’ve tried. No need for any immersion phase, just fuck things up and try not to die. Great.

Also a good effort to clear one level in those is about a coffee break or so, win or lose. Then rinse and repeat if didn’t clear it in a one go. No immersion really, just fight.

That's cause most online games are complete tosh. They stopped trying to be fun, and they're all about rating and dumb loot shit. Not to mention the quality of games is dependent on the other players, why bother with that when you could just play a good game where you're guaranteed to enjoy yourself.
I've played a bit of Doom1 and it was fun as FUCK, sadly it spooks me way too hard.
