I have a couple of stupid questions for English speakers.

>its
This is "its", possessive?
>it's
This is "it is".

Why is the word "it" different than others? Doesn't the possessive form usually have an apostrophe? Or maybe I have this all wrong.

>whose
Possessive?
>who's
"who is"

This word is also fucked, because my entire life I hadn't even known about the word "whose", and have been using "who's" in its place...

Just all sorts of upset over here.
