>>2969809That's fine, will check out that vid.
>>2969814>being a "skeptic" of it is like saying you don't believe in complex numbers. Not exactly, complex numbers are maths and lots of stuff in math doesn't have to have anything real going for them. Now, quantum mechanics is something that explains how the world works, if I am correct, being skeptic of it is not a bad thing, I think, maybe incorrect.
>I don't get why people think it is such a magical thingI can tell you from experience, as I am a pretty ususal person. It's just lack of knowledge, we do not differate between different "theories" (which most people do not even know, stands for something else than "theory" as in "hypothesis". Also, some hypothesis in science are also named "theories" iirc, which is just bullshit), different fields of science. We get all those little curiosities about some of them and stuff may become really fucking messed up in our heads with those tiny bits of knowledge. They just don't make any sense. People tell us answers without giving questions, say what happens, but do not explain it. I understand that explaining such stuff would be pretty much impossible to do, but it just creates that vision of scientsits saying: "It happens, because I said so", which makes most people either just not caring about the thing, or being skeptic of it etc.
Even not knowledgeable people need explanations if you want them to believe you, it was you who told us that science is all about proofs, about explanations.
That's how I feel about the whole matter, most people would just not care about it, therefore thinking it's some magic too.
>>2969827You didn't define any of the variables, unless you are talking physics and not maths. Then I have no idea what j would represent (not that that set of stuff makes any sense for me anyway).
