Buy two kilos of beef in one or two chunks, doesn’t matter what cut. Put it in a large (at least 8 liter) kettle with a double of weight of ”tablespoon size” slices of various tough root veggies like carrots, rutabaga/turnip, celery, parsnip, yellow onions (at least two large ones), an entire garlic, two full tablespoons of sea salt, full tablespoon of brown sugar, two desiliters of jap soy sauce, two desiliters or white wine vinegar.
Add everything in the kettle and add Coca-cola, Pepsi or Dr Pepper until everything is completely submerged.
Fire up the stove. Take it to boil and then moderate until gently boiling.
Now, there are two ways how to proceed. Both take at least 5 hours to complete.
1. Don’t add a pouch of chili powder and curry powder
2. Add a pouch of chili powder and a curry powder.
After 5 hours of cooking, pick up the meat with a large ladle, land in on the cutting board and explode it into fibers (or, ”pulled meat”).
Put it back in the kettle, turn off the stove.
Take another kettle and cook rice in it.
Serve the rice with the contents of the other kettle on top.
