If nothing else, Hillary's politics are closer to Jeb than Jeb is to Trump.
I was kind of banking on Trump being so self-evidently evil that all the moderate Republicans would support Hillary instead, but I suppose party lines are too strong in the US. Oh well, what can you do. The US is one of the most far-right nations in the Western world, so liberal Democrats can really only hope to gain ground in inches. If nothing else, I'm glad I live in a very liberal city in a very liberal state, so most of the policies which actually affect my day-to-day life are nice.
