It could get better tonight, or maybe tomorrow. Or life will remain, more or less, the same for you until several more years. And honestly? Even when it does get better, there's no promise that it will stay better.
The thing about life is that you absolutely cannot have just one or the other; you will always experience bad moments but you will always always experience good moments. You'll also deal with shit that's in between.
Currently I'm in a very low moment and honestly life doesn't seem worth it. I'm right on the edge, no longer sure if I want to fight the urge to jump anymore. But I also know that, eventually, something will change. Just enough.
Whatever you do, no matter how depressed you are, never use that "Suicide Prevention Hotline" thing because they'll never help you and may even ultimately make life even more guilt ridden and worse. I tried, and after an hour of pointless platitudes, the person ended up twisting my words around in such a way that I felt even worse than when I started. It all ended when I was taken to the hospital. I still feel like shit, and that tomorrow wont be brighter but who knows... maybe sometime next year life will pick up just enough again to where I wont want to jump. We'll see.
