that's disgusting to me. it would never happen in bulgaria, thank fuck nobody wants to come here. i don't know why europeans allow it. the thought of going to the store in my own fucking country and the person there not speaking my language is disgusting.
another anecdote from talking to that friend living in paris: one time we were on skype as he was walking down the street and i heard a banging noise in the background. i thought nothing of it but he got startled and went "holy shit what was that? did you hear that?". he thought it was a happening, an attack. he didn't even feel safe walking down the streets in the middle of fucking europe, the beacon of civilization we were all taught to worship.
that isn't how it's supposed to be man. if i go to paris i want to see paris, not algiers.
