While yes, when a t 34 gets shot at it's unlikely to get replacement parts, it was so much easier to repair on the feild because of things like the track pins. The tank was ment to be so simple a farmer could build and fix it. It was a part of the tank's doctrine
This also made it very cheap, even if not as cheap as the Sherman. Not to mention the tank's revolutionary sloped armor made it very resource efficient
