All my life I've pretty much known what I wanted to do, which was work as a programmer. I started programming at 15 and since I hung out on /g/ for all my teenagehood I always knew majoring in computer engineering would be mostly math, I was never under the assumption that compeng/compsci was even necessarily very computer oriented.

But I sort of got to college and I just suck at math. I always knew I'd have to do a lot of math but I didn't know I'd just never improve. It's like there's some physical attribute of my brain that prevents me from being competent. The worst part is that I LIKE math and I want nothing more than to be able to understand it better. I'm expected to get a fucking math minor but I feel like a goddamn retard.

My other classes aren't going well either. I feel like I'm being cheated out of doing well by my laziness or something and I almost feel like laziness is genetic. I've tried and tried but everything I fucking do is incompetent fucking trash.
