This is because liberalism is about taking wealth away from the oppressors(cis white males) and giving it the oppressed(women, minorites, LGBTQIAP+, Jews, Muslims, etc.). Ugly people feel oppressed because it's harder to go through life if you're ugly. Hence they become liberals.
So yeah, no reason not to be gay and conservative.
