Yeah housing is reasonable enough.
It isn't FTTP everywhere. FTTN is common.
We do get some terrible bush-fires occasional.
Pretty quiet on the social activism front, and not too many minorities. We do have a small sudanese community and a lot of asian students.
Plenty of bogans here mate.

It's a decent place, but quiet. Quite cold at times as well.

Lived here in the southern half all my life so ask me anything if you want, can't guarantee I can answer though.

Another tasfag here. Its true, employment is very industry specific and based on current trends. Right now there are loads of jobs in hospitality, nursing, social work, aged care etc. In a couple years all the jobs will be in other industries and round it goes.

Fantastic place to live though, great environment and produce, and great cultural events too thanks to old mate Walsh.

We'll average about 8 or 9 degrees Celsius in the winter months. We don't often dip below 0, but we also very rarely get above 20. Varies a bit around the state. It's honestly not *that* bad in terms of temperature, it's just that its a solid block of months with consistently miserable (I actually like it) weather.

It mostly comes down to luck. If your close to a major city, but in a low populated area seems to be best. I get about 135 Mbps download and 4-6 Mbps upload with hybrid fibre-coax. Most people seem to get about 30-40 Mbps. Costs seem to be around $80 AUD on average.

Houses are shit, uninsulated. Most of them have the fireplaces taken out (which are awesome at heating) and replaced with electric heaters which are shit and cost too much.

There is no jobs there. Everyone there is left wing. The upside is there is no immigrants except a few asians who keep to themselves, but most people are far left wing because they have never encountered abo's, niggers or lebs. (Last abo died in like 1876 and last halfcaste in like 1900). But the girls are FUCKING SLUTS OH MY GOD.

Upside is, even though small it is cheap. And you can hunt on public land, unlike rest of Australia.

Unfortunately this is true for all of Tasmania, it's decline started in the save the Franklin river campaign to stop the damming and expansion of the hydro electric power grid in Tassie which would have attracted heavy industry there in the form of paper mills and aluminium smelters. This unfortunately coincided with the globalist determination to strip Australia of all manufacturing capacity and give all those jobs to Asians. Seriously, we have so many fucking flips and thais working in our hospitals and aged care homes. The aged care homes are getting a fair number of nigs too these days. A decent IQ white would be fucking godsend and you would be promoted like lightning.

Aged or disability care would be the easiest way to get your foot in the door but I'd recommend nursing in the longterm if you want something more interesting and lucrative. The operating theatre and emergency nurses seem to be having a great time.

Yeah m8, if you're willing to live in some smaller town like pic related the Department of Education will fucking throw incentives at you (relocation and financial payments, early permanency/tenure, and transfer bonuses - the latter give you extra points to get into nice cushy selective schools later in your career).
I hear we're the most short on maths and science teachers but I imagine being multi-lingual would help tremendously. I also hear male teachers are particularly sought after.

I wouldn't worry about the weather too much. Most of the coastal areas are pretty well moderated by the ocean breezes. It's only inland that's hell.
Small towns are also overwhelmingly white. Even abbos are rare unless you're really remote.

Assuming you do speak English absolutely fluently then I wouldn't worry about any bias against euros, it'd make them feel all sophisticated having you on staff.

As far as salary, starts at about 60k for new grads up to 100k max for standard classroom teachers. Bit higher in rural areas and up to about 180k for principals.

I'll admit I'm shilling for Aus but the more rightwing skilled migrants we get from Europe the less Asian scammers we have after gibs.
