The way to make friends changes drastically with age.
The upside of it is that the older you are, the easier it is to meet new friends and find common topics to discuss with them (mostly due to grownups being less visibly judgemental and more mature about handling new people). The downside is, that they are not likely to become close/good friends and it will probably end very fast.
