>>3097148That's true for our smaller vessels like the fighters, probes, envoy transports etc. Our capital ships however, post warp, displace so much air instantly, this causes massive levels of pressure, resulting in these booms. The cloaking systems however means that no such trace of the ships material presence can be detected, at least not in anyway you humans have at your disposal. It's not perfect though, as you can see it leaves a cloud around the vessel, it's again a result of the displacement of mass caused by the ship warping in, combined with earths atmospheres extremely high water content.
Do not fear though, we come in relative peace, we want to help you out by offering our ability to exile you from this planet. Your sun has become unstable as a result of traveling through what I may as well just call 'the warp' for simplicity. If you are familiar with your very own artistic franchise entitled 'Warhammer 40,000', you'd know what I reference. Unlike the warp it is not an evil, conscious entity. It is however chaotic in physical nature and therefore destructive. One effect it has is that destabilising certain types of stars for one, your 'sol' being one of them. If you've paid attention the UV levels over the past 5 or so years have been very high all year round, your sun is burning itself up.
