>>3120115Withdrawal from backwoods grown pharma grade (multiple times better than Afghanistan) concentrated opium products like pod tea and straw concentrate.
I used for ~2.5 years of dosing every 1-3 days, after having flirted with opioids for ~8-10yrs responsibly.
After having gs/mc tests confirming I was likely consuming as much as 2000mg of oral morphine equivalent per day, I realized my withdrawal would be nearly equivalent to ~1333mg of oral Oxycodone per day. For comparison, many medium tolerance patients who show up for detox are only dependent on ~60-120mg of Oxycodone (vs. ~1333mg).
I'm over the dependency now 99.8% anyways. I still use once every 1-3 weeks, so clearly I'm mentally addicted, but I'm glad I'm no longer sick
I ended up doing a bumpy road of part taper, taper cold turkey, with numerous "relapses" that caused the total time of withdrawal to last maybe 3-4 months.
The acute stages of cold turkey lasted a full three weeks, with another month of debilitating PAWS.
It took 3-4 months before I even felt halfway normal.
This was worse than having a Hepatitis A acute infection (not transmitted by bodily fluids, just contaminated food) even for a day. I was violently spewing out both ends for weeks at a time. I didn't sleep the first ~13 days of the first real deal multi week cold turkey.
If it wasn't for gatorade and meal replacement shakes, I'd certainly have died. My fluid, electrolyte, and caloric losses were greater during withdrawal than acute hepatitis A infection.
Don't get dependent on opioids, kids. I thought it was "full proof because pills are so expensive and I'd never use dope." Well I eventually figured out that I could grow a year's worth of plants to make various concentrates, and purchased seeds that were GMOs that were focused on raw morphine production (instead of dangerous thebaine that is generally "toxic" and grown to be turned into codeine or oxycodone/morphone).
Magically thinking I'd be okay as long as my habit
