To put it simply (And the main concepts aren't too complicated if you want to look in it your self). basically Ancap believes that all governments both large, small, socialist, mixed, capitalistic, fasicst create more problems than they actually fix due to inherit inefficiencies in the design of governments and that secondly group identities, collectivism leads to tribalistic behaviors that don't benefit each member of the group if they where to rather satisfy them selves on their own, since they know exactly what they want (which ties back into the government issue). Lastly the idea of property rights and voluntary transactions will solve our issue related to how do we produce everything we can ever want with our scarce resources, by operating on a system based upon demand and scarcity we can optimize our wealth, productivity, and happiness.

Should and can are two different things. Even if you were able to start all of humanity over again families give rise to tribes which give rise to states. They are a fundamental part of the human species, provide protection against other states and aren't going away ever.

That being said ancaps are not wrong about the abuses, the loss of freedom, and the choking of prosperity by out of control states.

My opinion is that a well checked and balanced state has a better chance of making life better for the average citizen.

At least ancaps don't have a string of real world failures like communists though and still think it's a good idea. They are smarter than them.
