He was an hardcore capitalist when he was younger and now he is shifting to the left, he still belives in property rights and in the "lower taxes create newer companies and more jobs" meme, but he firmly supports a big goverment with a regulated economy and an extensive welfare programme.
But thats not the point, the reason why you are so similar is because he absolutely despises all sorts of revolutions or dissents, he is a staunch reformist who belives in slow gradual changes.
