As a while male how can I build tolerance for spicy foods?

I will be spending Christmas with my gf's family and they're a black.
During thanksgiving they made fun of me non-stop because when they offered me hot sauce and I asked if they had ranch dressing instead, I'm still feeling bad about it and now I feel like I need to one up them and prove that white people can take hot sauce.

I've been trying to build tolerance during the last few weeks by putting a few drops of sriracha in my food but even that I think is fucking hot and makes me teary eyes.
What should I do, /pol/? Should I bring my own hot sauce? I'm thinking of bringing a small bottle of protein milk so I can sneak some small sips to ease the pain.
I honestly hate hot sauce, but if that's what it takes to not be a laughing stock I will do it
