I'm weird. I either prefer big social events with lots of people or being alone over being with just a couple close friends/family. I like being able to float around the big events and talk to a lot of people without feeling the need to commit to any of them. I've had mental health professions tell me I likely have BPD, which I think would explain it.

Yeah, I usually go to a family gathering every Christmas Eve but I just bring my switch and stay in one of the back rooms
