i understand your meme problem. i agree that it's smarter to switch. i'm saying that even a 1/3 chance to win is significant and you could very well lose by switching so there's no point in bickering about it. if the sample size was 10 doors and 8 opened then you'd be an idiot not to switch. cold rationality isn't going to change the right answer should you have happened to pick it first, so you go with your gut feeling in the context of the game show.
