I remember being pretty open to spiritual-feeling ideas as a kid, but mainstream religion never did anything for me, and when I didn't find answers there, I just said "fuck it" around 12-13. After going down the rabbit hole though, I found that the ideas of Montalk and Gnosticism lined up pretty well with my own beliefs.
I don't think that my understanding of reality (or beyond) is an absolute truth that others should adhere to, lest they be wrong. I think spirituality is something that every individual should discover or understand on their own terms; not being told how to think/act by faggot preachers who guilt you into giving them money, or (((scientific materialists))) who would call you retarded for having an imagination past the age of 4.
